GARY STEGEMAN, P.E., JOINS CAS CONSULTING & SERVICES, Inc. AS VICE PRESIDENT

Gary Stegeman, P.E., has been named Vice President of CAS Consulting & Services, Inc. As Vice President, he will be responsible for overall engineering consulting operations.

Mr. Stegeman, who up until recently has served as the Program Manager for the Austin Clean Water Program, has a wide range of knowledge of water and wastewater engineering with over forty years experience in civil engineering for municipal utility projects.

Mr. Stegeman's project experience includes designing, permitting, constructing, and operating water and wastewater facilities worldwide. He has performed engineering services for a consortium of Japanese, Thai, British and Chinese firms to prepare a tender for the design, build, commission and operation of a wastewater collection and treatment system. Mr. Stegeman has managed projects for various US government agencies in Washington , D.C. , Bangkok , and in Hong Kong . In addition, Mr. Stegeman conducted due diligence evaluations of engineering consulting firms in England , Australia , Italy , Sweden and Germany .

He has also served as the senior engineer for numerous intricate Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District projects and has managed engineering design for a major wastewater treatment plant expansion.

Mr. Stegeman is a registered professional engineer in the states of Texas , Wisconsin , and Illinois . He holds a master's degree in Sanitary Engineering from the University of Wisconsin , Madison , and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin , Platteville. He is a member of the American Water Works Association, and currently serves on the City of Austin 's Planning Commission.
