Description:
The project site is located at 907-909 North Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas and consists of demolition of existing buildings at those locations and construction of a new 4-story building with two underground parking levels. The objective of this proposal was to provide engineering services to address August 23, 2006 City of Austin review comments on a previously submitted plan set in order to obtain a construction permit from the City of Austin.
Services Provided:
CAS provided services to address City of Austin Watershed Protection and Development Review Department review comments. The design included water/wastewater lines, fire line, traffic control, and erosion control. A site plan was prepared to show the location of the proposed building and the associated work in public ROWs and easements. New construction plans, details, and specifications were prepared for the water/wastewater lines, fire line, traffic control, and erosion control. CAS worked closely with the Client, other design professions of record (architectural & mechanical), and the City departments (Water, ROW, and Street & Bridge) to arrive at solutions satisfactory to all parties. An opinion of probable construction cost was prepared for the owner’s use. |
