The project, located in the southwest Austin area surrounded by a residential neighborhood, consists of designing the eastern extension of Davis Lane across vacant property to Leo Street. A left turn lane from westbound Davis Lane to southbound Leo Street with a 20-year pavement design is required as well as a drainage structure beneath the new street extension. The project requires the removal of a significant amount of trees from the proposed road extension. Tree identification and mitigation will be provided. In addition sidewalk and bike lanes are to be extended.
