Project Description:
The objective of the Jollyville Transmission Main project is to design and construct approximately 36,300 feet of 84-inch pipe from Water Treatment Plant 4 to the Jollyville Reservoir. It is anticipated that approximately 24,200 feet of pipe will be installed in tunnel and 12,100 feet will be installed by open cut. During Phase A, an alignment study will be conducted to develop alternative conceptual alignments and assess community, cost, engineering, construction, regulatory, and environmental factors that should be considered for each alignment alternative. The team will assist the City in presenting alignment alternatives to internal and external stakeholders; develop a decision making process that will weigh community, cost, engineering, construction, regulatory, and environmental factors; and work with the City to identify a design alignment.
