Mr. Stegeman has over 50 years’ experience in water and wastewater engineering in the planning, design, construction, and management of large engineering projects. Gary served as the Program Manager for the Austin, Texas Clean Water Program, which was created to address an Administrative Order issued against the City of Austin by the USEPA. He has served in various capacities in his 13 years with CAS and currently serves as a Senior Engineering Consultant and Member of the Board of Directors.
Prior to his time with CAS, Mr. Stegeman served as the Texas Water Group Division Manager for Earth Tech, Inc., heading up engineering offices in Austin, Houston and Dallas. In addition, he has served as the senior engineer for numerous intricate Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District projects and has served as the design manager for a major wastewater treatment plant expansion totaling $60 million for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. Mr. Stegeman served as the Treatment Plant Superintendent and General Manager for the City of Appleton, Wisconsin Water Department. He also has worked on international projects as the technical liaison between the U.S. and international offices.
Following 30 years of experience with Earth Tech, Mr. Stegeman joined CAS Consulting and Services in 2006 where he currently serves as a Vice President responsible for all civil engineering services.
