The project involved approximately 4,800 LF of 8-inch diameter wastewater pipeline design for four annexation areas (northeast of Anderson Mill Road and U.S. 183, Aldridge Drive, Bunny Run, and Conroy Lane / FM 1626). The annexation areas were part of a series of neighborhoods annexed by the City of Austin in 2009.

As the prime consultant CAS provided design, permitting, bid, and construction phase services. The wastewater improvements consisted of approximately 4,800 LF of 6- and 8-inch diameter wastewater pipeline design installed via open cut and bore. The gravity collection systems and manholes were within the City of Austin ROW of the streets typically, under pavement or in existing easements. Each affected lot was provided a service line within the ROW.Along with the wastewater improvements, the project also included the following Civil Engineering related services:

  • Service Lateral Connections,
  • Boring under TxDOT Highway, TXDOT Permitting,
  • Pavement Restoration,
  • Pavement Striping,
  • Erosion And Sediment Control,
  • Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter Construction,
  • Traffic Control,
  • Concrete Driveway Repair,
  • Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone Applications, and
  • Cave Response and Mitigation.
