Blake Manor Road Improvements | Austin, TX

Under this project Blake Manor Road will be widened from a two lane roadway to a four lane roadway with a continuous turn lane and a shared use path. The project limits are from the Travis County boundary south of City of Manor to East Metropolitan Park, a length of approximately 3.5 miles. CAS Consulting and Services, Inc. (CAS) is a subconsultant to Freese and Nichols, Inc. (FNI) for engineering tasks associated with the design for the Blake Manor Road Improvements project for Travis County.

CAS coordinated the utility relocation and provided temporary erosion/sedimentation controls. CAS contacted representatives of Manville Water Supply Corporation., Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, three private water supply management companies, AT&T (telecom provider), Sunoco Logistics (petroleum pipeline owner) and reviewed the City of Austin system maps for the area. Additionally we prepared the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and assisted in preparing the project manual.
